These are the non-flowering houseplants that are normally offered by Phelan Gardens.  Stop by to check on availability, and receive advice from our professional staff.

Success with indoor plants can be easy if you know your indoor environment and then match the desired plant's growing needs to your indoor lighting.  Determine what type of light you have available--low, medium or bright. Low light: No direct sun.  Bright: Near a sunny window, 1-2 hrs of direct sun.  Direct: 4+hrs direct sun It is common for plants to to adapt to more than one type of lighting condition..  For that reason, a plant may have   more than one Exposure listing.  Proper watering goes a long way in maintaining healthy plants.  Phelan Gardens recommends a watering sufficient such that water drains into the saucer.  This is important for H2O to penetrate the  root mass.  Thus, this key will serve as a guideline for how much water a particular plant will need.
