A Fun 'Flower' Day Trip

Head to the Fort Collins Trial Gardens

trialgardens20062Ever wonder how we determine which plants to offer you? Since we still grow many of our own annuals and vegetables either from seed or rooted cuttings, we have the flexibility to bring you varieties that you won't see elsewhere. Since our gardening season is relatively short, one of our criteria is to offer short season annuals that have been proven to perform. Customer and staff feedback offer insight from season to season. We also determine annual varieties via the trial gardens site in Fort Collins. Approximately 1500 varieties of flowers are grown both in the ground and in containers. This cross-trial gives us a Colorado reality check for how a particular plant will perform. That's information you just can't get from a catalog!
