  • Orchid Workshop

    Matthew Kurpaski, orchid enthusiast extraordinaire, will share his secrets to successfully growing orchids. Whether it’s a Phalaenopsis, Dendrobium, or Cattleya orchid, Matt will cover growing conditions, maintenance and repotting strategies. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own orchid for diagnostic assistance. Additionally, a potting station will be set up for anyone wanting to repot their own orchid using the recommended media special to these unique plants at $5/plant.

    In this Urban Wildlife Management class, Alpine Animal Control’s Claude Oleyar will offer solutions to wildlife challenges impacting our landscape and home fronts.  Understanding and managing the overabundance of rabbits, squirrels, rodents, and deer to name a few will be addressed in this class.  Well versed in wildlife management, Claude will open up the discussion to other furry or feathered foes.
