Autumn Blaze Maple - Full, hardy maple that is fast growing and disease resistant. 50' tall x 40' wide. Zone 3-7

Crimson Sunset Maple - This heat tolerant, medium sized maple offers a unique color within a landscape with it's deep maroon foliage. 35' tall x 25' wide. Zone 3-7

Fall Fiesta Sugar Maple - This upright, round habit tree has beautiful glossy green leaves that turn to yellow, orange and red in the fall. 60-75 tall x 30-45 wide. Zone 3-8

Hot Wings Tatarian Maple - Bright red samaras (seed pods) display ornamental appeal through the late summer months followed by deep red fall colors. 18-20 tall X 18-20 wide. Zone 4-10

Newport Plum - Fast growing, ornamental tree with soft pink flowers contrasting a deep purple foliage. 15-20 tall x 15-20 wide. Zone 4-7

Profusion Crabapple  - Round canopy with vibrant violet-red flowers with green foliage. 15-20 tall x 15-25 wide. Zone 4-8

Purple Prince Crabapple - This Father Fiala selection has outstanding rose-red blossoms and maroon fruits. The purple-bronze foliage and bright flowers rival 'Liset' but 'Purple Prince' does not suffer from stem splitting and is faster growing. Because it matures quickly as a young tree this is one of the best purple-leaf crabs for growers. Excellent resistance to scab, fireblight and cedar-apple rust. 20 tall x 20 wide. Zone 4-7

Royal Raindrops Crabapple - Certainly one of the prettiest red-leafed crabapples we've seen. Has a better summer color and appearance than most red-leaf crabapples. Abundant magenta-pink blossoms stand out handsomely against reddish-purple, cutleaf foliage. Shows good resistance to fireblight. 20 tall x 15 wide. Zone 4-7

Spring Snow Crabapple - This fruitless Canadian introduction is completely covered with pink buds that open to fragrant white flowers in spring. It has bright green, shiny foliage and good heat tolerance. 25-30 tall x 15 wide. Zone 4-7

Red Sunset Maple - Best known for it's early and bright fall foliage, this tree will hold a pyramidal form for the first few years and will then transition to having a canopy that is full and rounded. 40-50 tall x 30-35 wide. Zone 3-9

Sunburst Honeylocust - This extremely hardy, fast growing tree, is an excellent addition to your landscape by offering a unique foliage which offers a needed contrast. 35-50 tall x 30-35 wide. Zone 4-7

Toba Hawthorn - This hardy ornamental hawthorn is used as an accent within smaller landscapes, smothered in tight pink blossoms and adorned with red berries through the winter, offers great year round interest. 18' tall x 12' wide. Zone 3-8

Winter King Hawthorn - A drought tolerant tree that offers exceptional winter interest with it's vibrant red berries that persist through the winter that are then followed by pristine, white blooms in the springs. 25-35 tall x 25-35 wide. Zone 4-7

Why Bare Root
The benefits of buying and planting bare root trees are extensive. Bare root trees are more cost effective and will typically reach their mature size quicker. They are easier to manage and plant due to not being established within a medium in a container. Bare root shrubs and trees will grow faster since they have 200% more root mass than that of trees purchased in a container or B&B. The plants are also not having to go through the adjustment period of acclimating to different soil conditions since they are not coming in a medium.  For more information, please see CSU Extension Service’s “The Science of Planting Trees.”

Pickup for all Bare Root Plants will take place at The Shire at Old Ranch (3860 Old Ranch Rd., Colorado Springs, CO 80908).

Pickup will take place April 5th & 6th from 9:00 am-2:00 pm
